Refund Policy

1. Eligibility Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date. After 7 days, all purchases are final — no exceptions. This window exists to give you time to evaluate the service. If at any point within those 7 days you decide you do not want to continue — for any reason — you must submit your refund request immediately. We cannot process refunds for dissatisfaction, change of mind, or non-use reported after the 7-day window has passed, regardless of how much time remains in your billing period.

2. Act Immediately If You're Unsatisfied

If you are unhappy with the service, realize you won't be using it, or simply change your mind — do not wait. You have exactly 7 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. This applies equally to monthly and yearly plans. Waiting until later in the billing period, or until a yearly plan is partially through, does not extend your eligibility. The 7-day clock starts at the moment of purchase, not at the moment you decide to stop using the service.

3. Usage Requirement

To be eligible for a refund, you must not have used any words from your purchased plan. If any words have been consumed — even a single humanization — the purchase is considered used and is non-refundable. This applies equally to monthly and yearly plans. Partial refunds based on remaining word balance are not available.

4. Yearly Plans — Important Notice

Yearly plans are charged as a single upfront payment covering 12 months. By purchasing a yearly plan, you acknowledge and agree that you are committing to the full annual period. Refunds for yearly plans are only available within 7 days of purchase and only if no words have been used. After this window closes, the full annual charge is non-refundable — including if you no longer wish to use the service, if your needs change, or if time remains on the plan. If you are unsure whether the service meets your needs, we strongly recommend starting with a monthly plan or using the free trial before committing to a yearly subscription.

5. Free Trial

Trial periods are free of charge. If your card is charged at the end of a trial because you did not cancel before it ended, the resulting charge is subject to the same refund policy: within 7 days of the charge date and with zero word usage. Not cancelling a trial before it converts is not grounds for a refund after the 7-day window.

6. Chargebacks

We take chargebacks seriously. If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us directly, we reserve the right to permanently suspend your account and dispute the chargeback with full documentation of your purchase, usage, and acceptance of these terms. We encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] — legitimate refund requests within our policy are always honored promptly.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your request within 7 days of purchase. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

8. Cancellations vs. Refunds

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not constitute a refund request and does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period. If you also want a refund, you must submit a separate request within the 7-day window as described above.

9. Non-Refundable Cases

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
  • Requests made more than 7 days after purchase
  • Accounts that have used any words from the plan
  • Dissatisfaction or change of mind reported after the 7-day window
  • Unused time remaining on a monthly or yearly plan after the 7-day window
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Use
  • Welcome bonus words (free allocation given at signup)
  • Partial periods — we do not prorate refunds
